Free bolt-on courses add value to apprenticeships
Most TRS apprenticeships include free bolt-on courses that add immediate, job-specific value for employers
Free bolt-on courses
At TRS Training, our apprenticeships go further than the standard programme. Almost all of our apprenticeships include free bolt-on courses, designed to give employers and employees immediate, job-specific benefits on top of the funded training.
These additional courses strengthen compliance, leadership, safety, and operational capabilities, helping you develop a skilled logistics workforce.
What are bolt-on courses?
Bolt-on courses are additional industry short courses, some leading to certification, offered alongside a funded apprenticeship at no extra cost to the employer.
They are carefully selected to:
Broaden the skills of an employee
Support operational performance
Strengthen compliance and safety
Develop leadership and management capability
Address specific skills gaps identified through training needs analysis
Bolt-on courses are fully-funded by TRS and bring added value to apprenticeships which are already funded themselves.
Our bolt-on courses are delivered by TRS or one of our logistics industry partners including:
Road Haulage Association
British Association of Removers
British International Freight Association
- United Kingdom Warehousing Association
Free bolt-on course categories
These are just a few of the many bolt-on courses on offer with a TRS apprenticeship. Some of these bolt-ons are delivered by TRS and others by our partners. If there is an industry course not listed here that you are keen to undertake yourself or have your staff complete it, please let us know!
